Hello. My name is Nigel Gore. I set up moo cafeteria, which opened in Canonmills, Edinburgh in October 2009. After more than 20 years of running restaurants for other companies, I decided it was about time I ran my own. My love of hearty homecooked comfort food using simple good quality ingredients is reflected in our menu. And my enthusiasm for design, quirky things, eclectic taste in music, friendly service and creating a convivial atmosphere become obvious as soon as you step inside moo.

Our daily changing menu is devised by me and my kitchen team. We think that simple food needs the best care and experience to make it great.

As well as our day to day service we also do private dinner parties for up to 40 people and office and outdoor catering. Go to catering services for more information.
